By leveraging digital media, Nke Africa seeks to create a space where African Women’s voices can be platformed, archived, and celebrated globally.
Women are shattering boundaries every single day, and we are not celebrating them as intentional or as frequent as we should. It is said that he (or she) who tells the story controls the narrative. And I have chosen to do my part to reclaim our stories and correct our narratives.
Meet The Founder
Covenant Nsa
Covenant Nsa, a communications and digital media geek, is a MasterCard Foundation Scholar pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership at the African Leadership University, Kigali. She is a passionate storyteller who is particularly interested in telling stories of African women and does a lot of work at the intersection of Tech, Fashion, and the Arts. She had worked as a freelance social media expert and content strategist with brands and organizations in and around the African continent, helping them harness the power of digital media and marketing for proper organizational communications and goals. She is the founder and chief curator at Nke Africa, an online project that seeks to leverage digital media to showcase authentic stories of African women. In her spare time, she reads mostly Nigerian fiction, writes poetry, scrolls on TikTok, and pens down her feminist hot takes.
